What To Expect When You Reach Out
Step One: Phone Consultation
Our first step is a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we might be a good fit. We’ll talk briefly about what’s bringing you to therapy, and I’ll share more about my style and approach. This is a low-pressure space to ask questions and get a feel for whether I’m the right therapist for you.

Step Two: Scheduling Your First Session
If we decide to move forward, we’ll find a time that works well for both of us. Sessions are 50 minutes long and typically are held at the same time each week to create a sense of consistency and momentum in our work.
Before our first session, I’ll send you a welcome email with everything you need: paperwork, telehealth instructions and details to help you feel grounded and prepared.
What does it mean to be a good fit?
Finding the right therapist is an important part of this process. It’s less about having the perfect answers and more about finding someone you feel safe with - someone who gets you, and who you feel you can be real with, even when things are messy.
I might be a good fit for you if:
You’re thoughtful and emotionally attuned (or wanting to be)
You tend to overthink or overfunction and it’s starting to take a toll
You’re curious about the why underneath your patterns
You’re navigating a life shift, identity questions, or a general sense of “I don’t feel like myself”
You’re looking for a therapist who’s warm, collaborative, and steady - not a blank slate
Our first phone call is a chance to see how it feels to talk with me, ask any questions you have, and get a sense of whether this feels like the right space for you. There’s no pressure - just an open invitation to explore what you need.
