What to Expect When You Reach Out Step One: A Free 15-Minute Consultation We’ll start with a brief phone call to see whether working together feels like a good fit. You can share what’s bringing you to therapy, and I’ll tell you more about how I work. This is a low-pressure space. You don’t need to have everything figured out - just a place to start. Step Two: Scheduling Your First Session If we decide to move forward, we’ll choose a weekly session time that works well for both of us. Sessions are 50 minutes and held consistently each week to support depth, momentum, and connection. Before your first session, you’ll receive a welcome email with paperwork, telehealth instructions, and everything you need to feel prepared and grounded. What does it mean to be a “good fit”? A good therapeutic fit isn’t about having perfect answers — it’s about feeling safe enough to be real. I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and patterns that show up in relationships. You don’t have to check every box. This is just a general sense of who I tend to work well with. You may feel aligned with my work if: You’re thoughtful or reflective (or wanting to be) You tend to overthink or carry a lot of responsibility for others You’re curious about the “why” underneath your patterns You’re navigating a life shift, identity questions, or a sense of “I don’t feel like myself” You want a warm, collaborative therapist - not a blank slate Our consultation call will help you get a sense of whether this feels like the right place for you.
